Overview

KeyPoint Government Solutions is currently seeking candidates for an Investigative Support Branch Manager. Candidates for this opening located in Loveland, CO or Slippery Rock, PA will be expected to be onsite in the office occasionally. This position may also be work from home for other areas.

 

This position is directly responsible for supporting the internal investigative support branch workload operations in support of all background investigations fieldwork contract. This position will keep management fully informed of all information related to workload and internal support investigative staff.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Ensuring ISB practices are in line with the needs and goals of contract customers and KeyPoint
  • Direct oversight of all ISB functions including CI items to ISB, assigning items to ISB techs and complete items by ACD/CD
  • Provides direct daily supervision of subordinates including hiring, training, evaluation, disciplinary action, coaching, counseling and termination actions
  • Monitor ISB orgs for late schedulings
  • Promotes a cooperative and harmonious working climate which is conducive to maximum employee morale, productivity, innovation, efficiency and effectiveness
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with agencies providing records to KeyPoint
  • Maintaining record provider databases
  • Analyzing ISB workload to determine capacity and staffing needs
  • Work with other groups on contract projects to increase efficiency
  • Providing status of the ISB department to upper management
  • Assist in PMO projects
  • Process reimbursable record receipts monthly
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelors' degree preferred; equivalent work experience may be substituted.
  • New hire orientation
  • One year supervisory experience required.
  • Two years progressively responsible work experience related to fieldwork contracts and workload operations.
  • Must have experience working with NBIB’s PIPS system
  • Excellent organizational skills, the ability to respond to requests on short notice, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and stringent deadlines
  • Progressively responsible experience that provided a thorough understanding of workload operations within the Investigative Support Branch of the NBIB Program
  • Provides services and support for success of fieldwork to improve and exceed customer service and program performance
  • Works well with management and peers
  • Skill in communicating complex subjects orally and in writing to all levels of KeyPoint Government Solutions hierarchies
  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work on a team, and ability to work effectively with all levels within in a fast paced environment with the flexibility to manage multiple tasks and projects with short deadlines and changing priorities
  • Experience presenting and defending positions to a variety of audiences, in representing an organization and defending the organization’s position in working groups and planning sessions
  • Demonstrated ability to explain, advocate and express facts and ideas in a convincing manner; negotiate with individuals and groups internally and externally and be able to identify the internal and external politics that impact the work of the organization
  • Flexibility in a rapidly changing environment
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • U.S. citizenship (required for federal security clearance)

Federal Background Investigation REQUIRED please read.

The selected candidate for this position must be able to successfully obtain and maintain a favorably adjudicated government background investigation. This background investigation requires U.S. citizenship and will include an investigation of 10+ years of history including financial, education, employment, medical, residence, and personal records. The cost of this investigation will be paid by KeyPoint.
